Phoenix House Apartments are located outside the center of the city near the Oakland City MARTA Station in Southwest Atlanta. The complex is made up of 35 studio apartments, 8 four-bedroom/two bath garden apartments, and one two-bedroom apartment designed for someone requiring wheelchair assistance.  The apartment complex consists of a two story and 3 single story buildings.  All apartments are fully furnished.  The maximum number of residents is 69. Residents are homeless single adults who have a chronic mental illness. The apartments are grouped around two renovated Victorian homes which serve as offices and a club house for residents.
		The program provides support staff which are available 24-hours a day, and features an exciting schedule of recreational events. The complex has laundry facilities and security in the afternoon and evening hours. Rent is based on 30% of a residents income.
